Elk Bend is found along the banks of the Salmon River between Salmon and Challis, Idaho adjacent to the Highway 93 corridor. Don't try and look for us on a map, because you probably won't find us!
We are a small village nestled in the midst of millions of acres of Idaho's wild back country. Our nearest and most treasured neighbors are deer, elk, bear, eagles, steelhead trout, and upland game.
Fishing, hunting, ATV riding, rafting, back country hiking, cross country skiing, horseback riding and mountain biking are just a few of the outdoor adventures folks share here. If the words "fun" and "outdoors" are linked together in your mind and spirit, then Elk Bend is for you!
Land and housing prices here are still about the cheapest in Idaho.
